      Deep Water Lifeguard Interview

      Oct 31, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Arlington, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Six Flags (Arlington, TX) in Jun 2017

      Interview

We filled out paper work in a cramped corner of the break"room" building. We were asked very basic questions, and as long as you did not sound cocky you were basically handed the job. From there you take a week (2-3 day) long class for basic training along with swim tests. Then you have to take one more class before you are officially hired.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Six Flags (Arlington, TX) in Feb 2017

      Interview

You are brought into a room with a handful of other candidates and asked questions as a group such as how you'd handle difficult situations in the park. There's usually 2 supervisors running it and you are judged based on your answers and how you talk in front of the group. This job is very collaborative, so you must be able to function and think things through as a team, and that's the ability they're looking for as well as drive in the interview.

      Question 1

If a group of teenagers were rough housing in the Lazy River, how would you ask them to stop?
