Long process: interviews with head hunters, HR, recruiting manager, strategy test, personality test, deep interview with a psychologist, IQ test (Raven Advanced Progressive Matrices), (now I was the only left in process), three reference interviews, full background control. Then hold on for interview with managers manager. I was told it was only formality. A week later they called and the role was to be withdrawn and re-made. They have internal changes and want to adjust the role. I was not relevant any more.
Disrespectful once the decision was made.
By far the most terrible experience given how they treated the time of my references, not to mention how bad they treated my integrity. No calls from HR or recruiting manager in the end. They sent a recruiter who only got to know there were internal changes.
They lied to me about the pros that they wanted to hire me to buy time for change in decision. At the same time as I was being screened totally and expected to be spotless.
That thought me to qualify the recruiting managers better.
