      Customer Success Manager Interview

      Oct 11, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Sketch in Sep 2021

      Interview

For me interviewing with Sketch was the best candidate experience ever! The interview process took about 8 weeks. The first round was with the Recruiter and it was a pretty standard discussion about the role, my experience etc. The second round was with the Hiring Manager, the third one was with an existing CSM which was really nice because you get to know your potential future cuoleagues and you have the chance to ask questions about their day to day job. The fourth one was the most difficult I would say, as it involved a business case with a role play. But it was a super useful one because you get to research the company, product and understand how they work. It basically allows you the time to see if you would really like the job and if you are a good fit for the role. The last round was with another CSM and with the COO. You may think that the process is long but actually they were pretty fast in communicating back the next steps every single time. Moreover the feedback was on the spot, transparent and constructive. The team was amazing from start to finish and you can tell they are really passionate about their jobs, the product itself and the customers they have. Overall it was a challenging but great experience!

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sketch

      Interview

There were 6 rounds of interviews in total with HR, Head of Sales, 2 other CSMs and the COO. The hardest interview was doing a product demo in a role-play group setting. The interviews generally cover questions about company culture and fit, past work experience and relevant skills, and the ability to adapt to new demands in a rapidly growing team. It was one of the most enjoyable recruiting experiences I've had. The team always got back to me promptly, and by the end of the process I felt that I had a solid understanding of the team and culture.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sketch (London, England)

      Interview

a very clear 4 step interview, which is detailed on their website too. The hardest part was the demo (presentation) because you need to make it sound as real as possible, as if you were in the position already and you'd have a meeting with a customer. They respond very quickly, which is great and they allowed me to have time with 2 of their current CSM's to ask questions about the role etc, It was one of the best interview experiences I have ever had, even though I did not get an offer.
