The people of Sketch were all very friendly and seemed knowledgeable in their fields.
The interview included a recruiter screen, a 5 hour written assessment, two calls with the hiring manager, and a team interview over slack.
While the interview steps were all engaging and the assessment was especially well written (albeit, extremely long), sadly all the scheduling steps over the 3 month process were plagued by misfires like wrong expectations set, long waiting times, multiple no-shows and so on.
Eventually the role I applied for was frozen alltogether. Being asked to do an extensive assessment and then be subjected to a very inconsistent 3 month interview process, only to receive news of a frozen role would typically be a negative experience but the transparency and kindness of the people of Sketch made up for it and I can say it's a company worth applying to.
