Interview
I had a 30-minute video interview with three structural engineers from SOM. The interview combined behavioral questions (teamwork, challenges, decision-making) and technical questions (fundamentals of structural design, problem-solving, and practical detailing). Interviewers also asked which projects interest me and why, which gave me the chance to connect my skills and interests to what SOM does in the industry.
