This was the longest interview I have ever had. Most people invited to interview come with recommendation. Connections here are very important. Be prepared to discuss your portfolio at great length and depth. You will be meeting with multiple people and given an extensive tour of the office. Do your homework and read up about the current projects here so you can ask plenty of questions during the tour and interview.

Question 1
I was asked very pointed questions about my school research projects when I had been out of school for quite some time, so really brush up on all the theories and ideas represented in your school and professional portfolios
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2014
Interview
It was a group panel interview that lasted 2 hours. Were thoroughly questioned on my resume and portfolio. Near the end of the interview, one of the interviewer realized he has mistaken the role he was interviewing me for. Nevertheless, the interviewer still idiotically continued to give me all the false "buy" signals. Made an salary negotiation offer. Gave me an office tour and introduced me to an number of other principals. Was never a call back to "finalize" the offer. That was a year ago. I emailed and called back, they never responded.
