I submitted an application online through the SOM website, applying specifically for the position. About a week later, I received a phone call from HR and scheduled an interview for 2 weeks out. I visited the office and interviewed in person, meeting with 3 members of the leadership, two specializing in design and one specializing in technical. I brought a print version of my portfolio and resume and was asked to "lead them through" the interview, talking about my experience and what I wanted to talk about.
