Contacted by recruiter for a phone interview. Thought it went well, was told my resumé would be passed onto the Hiring Manager to get set up for a second interview (face to face). Sent a thank you email to the recruiter immediately, no response back. Five days later received a generic email from the same recruiter telling me I was not selected to move forward in the interview process. Very unprofessional move, should not have been told I'd be expecting a second interview if I was not the right candidate to move forward.
