Was sent an email requesting a good time to talk with the recruiter, and scheduling a time was an easy painless process. The call with the interviewer was awkward and uncomfortable. The interviewer asked basic questions which could have been garnered from my resume and/or cover letter and didn't want to talk to me about the role or the company at all. My questions seemed to be an affront to him. His questions for me were very basic as if he was reading a script and only going through the interview process to check a box off his to-do list. It seemed like my interview was definitely not something they really wanted to do and he already had someone else in mind for the position.
