The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Ypsilanti, MI)
Interview
I will keep the process itself concise since it's on here already.
-arrive to group interview 1 hour to 15 min before the actual interview begins. (Mine was at 6pm)
-they collect your resume before you enter the room & check to make sure you're between 5 ft and 6ft I believe.
-they give a brief introduction to the company reading off a sheet followed by a Q & A
-there is a short break to make sure this position is right for you
-everyone has 60 seconds to share why they would be a great flight Attendant
-another 45 min break
-they post a list for those they would like a face to face with
While Glassdoor advice is usually great and spot on, I recommend ignoring it for this interview because at my interview they chose people for face to face interviews who asked questions they already covered, obviously did not prepare for the 60 second question, were dressed in casual clothing, did not look the part (hair back and red lips for the ladies), and did not smile whatsoever for their question. I recommend being as genuine as possible because maybe they are looking more for that than a polished presentation. The people chosen for the face to face interviews were not eloquent speakers and did not seem very enthusiastic, but when speaking with them in the breaks everyone I met was very nice!
The recruiters themselves were honestly very boring. Their job is to get people excited about the company and they did not accomplish that goal at all. They just read off a paper without very much enthusiasm or happiness. They didn't seem to fit the role they were trying to recruit for.
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Atlanta, GA) in May 2026
Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
