I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2017
Interview
Group interview, approximately 60 people. Each person is asked to introduce themself and share why they feel they would make a good Flight Attendant. Focus on work experience and skill sets (safety, CPR) that will benefit you in this position. Do not talk about family! Practice this so you are able to stay under 1 minute! Adhere to this! If you go over you wIll not be invited to the one on one interview. At the one on one interview I was interviewed by a gentleman, he is a current FA as are all the interviewers. We went over my resume in detail, asked about some gaps in employment history, why I left each job and then asked if I would be willing to relocate. I was asked to read a flight announcement from a card. Asked me approximately five questions and then asked if I had any questions for him. Think of questions to ask! This was my favorite part of the interview, he shared a lot of important information with me about what it is like in training and the first few years and now. I really appreciated his honest answers. Very excited to begin my training in May!

It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.

Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
