I applied online. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Billings, MT) in Aug 2024
Interview
Applied early July. Invited to attend group interview of my choice. RSVPs not required or accepted. The closest one to my home is a 6 hour drive - 12 hours round trip. I booked a room at the hotel of the event, asked off of work. I drove the 6 hours this morning, only to arrive and find out from the hotel that the event was canceled. No explanation from the airline, no communication. I’m out $150 for the room, another $100+ for gas, 2 days of missed income and no interview to show for it. There’s not another one nearby scheduled, but I wouldn’t want to work for an airline who is already showing me how they would be as an employer.
Glad I prepared for the interview by studying their mission statement…
“We understand and value the priceless commodity of time.“
My time certainly feels valued. lol what a joke.

The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.
