Slalom Cloud Consultant interview questions

After the initial HR and recruiting phone screen, Slalom scheduled an in-person meeting with me. They canceled it the day before citing customer priorities. That's fine, things happen. They rescheduled me for a phone call. I was stood up for that call, and nobody replied to any of the follow-up emails. When I emailed the original internal recruiter who first contacted me, I was scolded for being too aggressive and told that my timeline was too much for them. I'm a little shocked that such a highly ranked company would ignore a candidate and then scold them for trying to follow up. They also claimed to have called me on a day when I got no calls or voicemails. Stay away from Slalom Philly, even if their Seattle office is awesome.

The interview process was one of the best experiences I've had in my career. They were professional yet empathetic to me while going through the interviews. The internal recruiter was always available to answer any questions through the process and always worked with my schedule instead of forcing theirs. The actual interviews were relaxed in nature but still inquisitive enough to know if you could do the job. I didn't get the feeling they were asking questions to stump me or prove they knew more than me. It was just about what I knew and who I am. I kept waiting for "the other shoe to drop" through the process and it never did. It really set Slalom apart from other companies.
