I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2010
Interview
My interview process with Slalom was not particularly pleasant. I think that they are looking for people who are largely refugees from the large consulting firms. Because of this if you aren't one of those types, you might not find much traction. This approach also generates a fairly homogeneous culture so expect the others who work there to be pretty much like you.
The interview process took quite a long time with a number of different interviewers. I don't feel like the interviews were scheduled or managed well and communication with the recruiter was rather poor. I understand that the recruiter left the company somewhere in the process and that someone else had to pick up the pieces. Perhaps that was a contributing factor in why the process stretched out and seemed so disjointed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions during my interview were primarily based on my experience.
Not too difficult. All questions were what you would expect. A few rounds with the hiring manager, and others from the team / umbrella which included a case study. The prompt was given with a few different options and fairly simple to deliver.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom in Oct 2024
Interview
Four separate 30 minute interviews. Each with a different individual. Each interview was supposed to be focused on one thing like culture or technical skills, but in reality the interviewers did what they wanted.

Interview
Very friendly, multiple screeners with people in the local office (over zoom). They'll ask about any consulting experience, but mostly want to get to know you as a person. Just be yourself.
