Interview
This interview process was one of the best I've experienced. Slalom moved quickly, I was kept informed of updates and timelines throughout, and all interviews were great conversations with very friendly people. My process took place over Microsoft Teams, and consisted of:
- 45-minute interview with very knowledgeable and enthusiastic recruiter (this one was over the phone)
- 60-minute "technical" interview with team member (to assess ability of actual job skills)
- 30-minute interview with senior leader (to assess cultural fit)
- 60-minute case presentation (from a take-home case) to senior leadership team, including Q&A (to assess presentation skills, thought processes, and cultural fit)
Mostly standard consulting interview questions: ask about your past work experience, what were the difficulties and how you overcame these difficulties, etc. Overall process took a little bit longer than expected due to difficulty to get interviewers' availability.
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.

Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
