I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
I was directly reached out by recruiter on linkedin. We spent time scheduling first call, then technical call and then she asked me to prepare a presentation. I was able to breeze by technical call and they were more concerned if I was more interested in position. I assured them I was, at that point the recruiter discussed compensation and was shocked to find out how much I make. She still sent me link and material to make a dashboard presentation.
I spent time and effort to prepare it, as well as do a lengthy writeup. After which I never heard back from them again. Initially I was told team was busy with conference, after that not a word at all. I reached out to the recruiter multiple times to get some feedback, but she never responded. I am shocked at the level of unprofessional'ism and callous displayed towards my time and effort, especially when they reached out to me in first place.
