SmartThings interview questions

Recently recruiter approached my through LinkedIn and I agreed for an Interview. The scheduled a video conferencing Interview with the Lead person in their team. Recruiter told me that they were very impressed with my profile and hence wanted to schedule it soon. Interview was based on my previous experiences and Projects I worked on. No technical questions were asked and the interviewer seemed like very much impressed. He said that he felt I am a very good fit for this role and he really liked my experiences. He also said that he would recommend Hiring manager to move me up their Interviewing list and will schedule a face to face interview soon in another couple of days. However after that interview, there were no communication from them. I contacted the recruiter few times however they also didn't get any feedback after that. This happened 7 weeks back and no update till now. Today the recruiter mailed that they have informed them that they wouldn't want to proceed further. However I noticed that they have posted again in LinkedIn with same Job description. Not sure what went wrong after having a very good first round. At least they could have given a feedback. Felt like they really don't have any position but they just want to interview people anyway.
