The interview process was easy, and very laid back. The hiring manager was very nice, but it took them two months of stringing me along for them to finally shoot me a quick email stating that they were going in a different direction. Trying not to sound bitter here, but I really wanted the position. After the initial interview, I was told that they would contact me the following week to schedule a flight out to Portland. After following up with them once a week for a month, they finally emailed me stating that they had chosen to go in a different direction. Smith seems like a great company to work for, and hopefully you have the time and patience to go through their hiring process.
