The interview process followed a standard structure: an HR screen, two hiring manager interviews, and a final onsite interview. Communication from HR WAS excellent throughout the earlier stages.
However, after the final onsite interview, more than a month passed without any follow-up or decision, despite sending two follow-up emails. This lack of closure made for a very poor candidate experience.
During the onsite interview, I met with over ten people. Unfortunately, one of the department heads was noticeably rude and disengaged from the moment the interview began, which was disappointing and unprofessional as she was someone that was involved with this role.
Overall, the experience was not positive. Even an automated rejection would have been preferable to being left without any communication, as I still do not know where I stand.
