4 different calls, none of them was technical, a waste of time for both sides in my opinion. First I talked with the rectuiter for 30 minutes about the role. A week after the call with the recuiter I talked with the CEO, she is a great a person and I really enjoyed talking with her about the company's mission. A week after the phone call with the CEO I talked with someone from the HR department for another 30 minutes, same here, great person, she asked good questions, and I received feedback right after the call that I'll have one more interview, I had a great experience for this interview! A week after I talked with the project manager, it was a great conversation but in my opinion it was too long and wasn't well organized. Here's my personal point of view for this process. I interviewed a lot of candidates in the past for different positions, as an interviewer or as a head of an interview committee . I always try to be efficient as much as possible and value the candidates' time by trying to combine interviews in one day or one week. Dragging the process for too long is bad. There are two things that I didn't like about the process. - I sent an email asking about my status a few days after the last interview and no one replied back, you can always reply by saying that you're still considering it, please don't ignore emails from candidates! Ask technical questions if the role is technical, maybe that's the first thing that you should do in order to save both sides time. Good luck!
