The interview process was divided into three stages: initial screening, technical assessment, and a call with the team and the CEO at the same time (panel call with 4 persons in total). I went through all of them, and what I liked the most was that the company paid me for the technical test I sent them; this shows that they value people's time, which I appreciated. After the interviews, i was asked me about my salary aspiration, and when I mentioned it, they said that what I was asking for was above their budget, so they couldn't hire me. When I asked about their budget, my question was deflected and i was told that they contact me later, which they never did. It would have been preferable to have discussed the salary beforehand so that neither I nor the company wasted time in interviews in the first place.
