      Interview

I've filled out an application. I was invited to a video robotic interview. Auto video interview without a person behind it seems be a lazy approach. I feel these types of robotic video interviews are a waste of time. It would be better if there was a phone interview done by person for the remote work from home job.

      Application

The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Snapsheet (Chicago, IL)

      Interview

Applied through Glassdoor and got a call the next day to set up a phone interview. Phone interview was easy and basic. Got invited for an in office interview a couple days later. In the email I was told to check in with the office assistant. I got there and no one was there so I waited about 10 minutes since my interview was at 3 and I got there at 2:45. I literally had to call the recruiters phone to let her know I was there. Some lady comes out to greet me and tells me the interviewer will be out shortly to get me. Waited about another 10 minutes. Finally the interviewer came and we sat down and she literally asked me the exact same questions she asked on the phone. Why?? I have no idea! After that I did 2 mock calls which I don’t really see how they connected to the position. The mock calls asked for me to explain to the customer how to download an app on her phone and the other was to sell a cell phone plan. Mind you this isn’t a sales position so I don’t see why that was necessary. It was kinda fun though. Next I met with 2 managers who were all buddy buddy. They came into the room talking amongst themselves and literally didn’t say a word to me until they got settled in their seats with their laptops. They gave me some generic run down of what the position entails. In a nut shell youre either making outbound calls or answering in bound calls. I asked a few questions and that was it. They weren’t interesting at all and didn’t seem like they were trying to learn anything about me. It was like they didn’t care. Place seems a bit racist and cliquey as well as showing favoritism. After that I got a tour of the office which it is a very nice office. Overall the experience was not good. Felt like I wasn’t given a fair chance. Glad I didn’t get an offer because I would have declined working for such a rude company

      Application

      Interview

I was unhappy with the in person interview. The second lady that interviewed me was weird and literally put both her elbows on the table and chin in her hands while she talked to me. She was kinda squinting at me and sounded rude. The first lady in the in person interview was nice but had a certain look on her face. She also showed me around the office and it seemed as though i was judged right than and there. I didn't get a offer and felt this is some high turnover place. Better yet, i had great experience and they posted more openings online!! They missed a right fit candidate, i bet i was judged by my looks. There was a phone interview prior week with a nice lady than got invited right away to a in person interview at their office.
