Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Recruiter Call:
Standard intro screen with TMAY, why I’m interested in the role, and some housekeeping questions. The recruiter was super responsive and helpful throughout the process, which made scheduling smooth and stress-free.
Hiring Manager:
Covered TMAY, relevant work experience, a few basic SQL questions, and a short case study where I calculated a break-even point. More about structured thinking than heavy math.
Technical Round:
3 SQL questions (Leetcode medium difficulty). The last question was scenario-based: given two tables, write a query to calculate a KPI while thinking about edge cases like NULLs and duplicate accounts.
Stage 4 – Behavioral with 2 Directors:
Focused on TMAY, Why SoFi, relevant work experience (A/B testing, marketing analytics, stakeholder management), and where I see myself in 5 years.
Stage 5 – Behavioral with Sr. Manager:
Similar format: TMAY, Why SoFi, what I’m passionate about, and why I think I’m a good fit.
