They reached me through a platform for the Senior Software Engineer position. After meeting with the recruiter, they sent me "Coding Challange - Non-Ruby Developers" to solve. The main programming language that the company uses is Ruby, but they said it was not very important. The questions were tough, but because I like both solving algorithms and writing SQL queries, I worked hard and completed the test.
I was invited to a technical interview and was told that my HackerRank solutions were quite successful. Afterward, another meeting was organized and I met the team.
A few days later, I got a message that says I rejected because I have no experience with Ruby. In the beginning, it was obvious that I had no experience with Ruby.
