The process was pretty straightforward but a little intense. They move pretty fast (the entire process took me 2 weeks) but all in all it was a very positive experience. First call was a short chat with a recruiter to see if it makes sense to move forward. Afterwards you chat with the hiring manager to get a better sense the team and what gaps they need to fill with the new role. If all goes well they have you do a 1 hour technical interview with one of their software engineers. It was an algorithm problem but it was pretty straightforward and not too difficult. From here, they setup the virtual onsite which consists of 7 different interviews (which can be scheduled over separate days). 1) A more difficult technical coding challenge 2) Debugging 3) System design discussion (no coding) 4) Demo of their product 5) Cultural discussion with Head of People 6) Short presentation of a project you've worked on 7) Wrap up with hiring manager When I was initially scheduled for these, it was a bit overwhelming. Definitely the most amount of interviews and time I've seen for a virtual onsite from any company. However, everyone makes the process very easy to get through. The entire team is very nice and friendly and they ease you through the process. I've also never before had a company give a demo of their product and give you the chance to dive deeper into that. They did a great job at being real and upfront about what it's like to work there and some of the current pain points that they're working on. They also focus a lot on the cultural fit which was very appealing for me. Ultimately I didn't get an offer due to some logistical reasons with my location but it's one of the most positive interview experiences I've had and I would definitely interview here again in the future when the timing works out for me.
