Definitely need more organization in the recruitment department. They took several days to respond to emails, had a long process, confused the position with another and gave the wrong assessment. Didn't discuss salary until the end of the long process and after telling me they liked me and asking my salary requirements, I was rejected with no chance to negotiate. Ghosted when I requested more feedback. The engineers who interviewed me and the company both seemed great but the process was not respectful of the candidate.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Softrams in Feb 2022
Interview
Talked to a recruiter about the job after he reached out to me on a social media networking site. Interviewer was not friendly, got the feeling he would rather have been somewhere else. Not a great impression. No small talk. No "who we are". Went right into the questions. Asked if I was willing to do a coding exercise. I took a look at it and said NO. Don't have time to do that when it is used as a gatekeeping tool. After the exercise you "might" get a panel interview. Maybe we should see if the company and I are a match before going to that extreme.
Too many other great companies hiring to put myself through that. Moving on....

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Softrams in Jun 2017
Interview
Telephone screen, video interview with chief architect and hiring manager with technical questions. Supply github contributions and examples of work then talk to them. Short process, after technical interview for about a hour was given a verbal offer next day followed up with a written. It was a pleasant experience. Quick and to the point. Much better than lengthy interview processes that I’ve experienced with other companies
