The entire process takes a month. 2 rounds of technical interviews (1-hour) + a 3-round panel interview + a round of VP interview. Pros: I think the engineers are all very professional and have a clear goal of what kind of person that they want to hire. Cons: I am not very convinced by their answers to the questions relates to "Sonatus' biggest advantage" and "business outlook". My feeling is that the leaders don't have a clear sight of how to expand their business and showcase themselves. What is more concerning is that the VP was late for the interview for more than 5 minutes, so I left unaware and rescheduled the meeting. On the other day, he appeared to be very bossy (and even arrogant) and forgave my "absence" on the previous day. He asked about unrelated skills to my past experience and the job description. Later, I asked about their expectation out of this job, and their outlook to their business development. He either answered the question by asking another question, or bragging about Sonatus' ambition, without any supporting facts or reasonable strategies. Summary: I don't personally think my skillset is a good fit to this position, and I am surprised that I can enter the last round of interview. My intuition tells that they are eager to hiring anyone and will push him/her to work around the clock. At the same time, the company is under a transformation, and the leadership does not have a clear view of what the next step is, especially in the global automotive market. They claimed their software is world-leading, but I don't buy these words as a software developer. I don't foresee how they would compete with those Chinese OEM/Bigtech.
