A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn for this position. He was very enthusiastic about me and about the company so I got very excited too.
The whole process was very fast. The interviews were scheduled one after the other, or even before that. For example my forth interview was scheduled before we even had the third one. It felt like they were rushing to find someone to start as soon as possible.
The first interview was a nice conversation with the recruiter. He didn't ask many questions.
The second interview was with the VP Human Resources based in America. She let me ask most of the questions which I thought was an interesting approach.
The forth interview was scheduled before I had the third one.
The third interview was with the manager in Utrecht office. It was never mentioned to me that they would like a Dutch speaker for this position, so once the interviewer started our conversation in Dutch I was dissapointed. I have mentioned briefly to the recruiter that I feel very comfortable speaking Dutch to my colleagues but not really on a professional level with clients.
I felt discriminated since this requirement should have been mentioned in the first place.
