I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Sonic (North Syracuse, NY) in May 2016
Interview
I applied online through the company website after I saw a listing for the position at my franchise on Craigslist. I was called by "Adam" about three days after I submitted my application for an in-restaurant interview.
I interviewed with the manager in the morning at the restaurant. He did not seem to really have read my application before because he did not check my availability and did not seem to know where I went to school and my general previous experience beforehand. I told him that I was a student who attended college out-of-state but returned home for the summers and he told me that he did need help for the summer. He outright told me that due to my customer service experience, I would be more likely to work at the cash register or at the drive-thru rather than in the kitchen. He had interviews the day of and the day after my interview so he said that he would call me back afterwards if I got the job.
He never called me back.
It was just a smooth 15 minute conversation on what is needed what am I able to give & am I able to do certain things which i agreed & ended up working close to a year for the company
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What moved to me apply and why should they hire me
Very nice and just asking questions and your experience with the company or had a job recently it was good everything went smoothly and nice the only thing that sucks is when you come and do your computer work just because you might be there for a while
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sonic (Douglasville, GA)
Interview
Super easy, practically just hired me on the spot. I was hired because of my consistency checking if there were positions. Just show good traits and be a little lucky and you shouldn't have a difficulty.
