I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sonic (Baltimore, MD) in Apr 2017
Interview
Easy. They hire on the spot,if you do not mention any disabilities.Interviewed over the phone for other Sonic locations.Told disability and needed accomodations.Other Sonics made excuses not to hire me.When they want you they call you,but if you call every now and than to inquire, and store just happens to be owned by same owner, the employees/employers there at Sonic will call the owner and accuse you of harassing them.Sonic workers compared other fast food workers, like Wendy's,Burger King,Mcdonald's, Checkers, ect, are the most cruel and ignorant people you ever want to meet.If the characters in Duck Dynasty wanted a job,Sonic would hire them right away.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Hours I can work and can I roller skate. What job was I interested in?Do you have a willingness to cross train at all stations?Did I have past fast food experience?Do I like meeting new people?
The process was a very simple and friendly interview. Very professional for a fast food chain. Would recommend for a high school student or a recent graduate looking to start making money.
Quick and simple. Simply apply online for the location you want to work in. When they are hiring, they call you back rather quick. Go for the interview and it's easy.
