I am writing to report deeply inappropriate conduct that occurred during a recent interview with three Sony Music representatives. Throughout the video call, only one of the three men spoke. The other two remained on camera but were positioned and moving in a manner that created the clear appearance that they were engaged in personal, non-professional activity while watching me. Their behavior suggested physical movements consistent with self-stimulation, which made the interview feel more like I was being viewed for their gratification rather than evaluated as a candidate. The environment was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and degrading. I felt as though I was being observed in a voyeuristic manner rather than participating in a legitimate hiring process. This conduct, whether intentional or not, fundamentally compromised the integrity of the interview and violated reasonable expectations of workplace standards. I request that Sony Music immediately review the conduct of the individuals involved, confirm whether this behavior aligns with your policies, and take appropriate corrective action. I also request written confirmation that your organization does not allow interview platforms to be used in ways that risk the dignity, privacy, or safety of candidates.
