I applied through other source. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Sophos (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Aug 2020
Interview
Worst Interview Experience.
This is about (2nd round ) which was taken by a girl from Gurgaon office . I am not able to understand how such big companies have hired such kind of (unskilled ) employees in their company.
- In Entire 1 hr interview she has asked me only 2 questions Test cases on google Homepage & Test cases on File upload .
- I gave almost all valid scenarios but I think she was having her lunch and was not interested in listening test cases also .
- I had applied for an Automation Tester position and that girl didn’t ask a single question on Automation might be she doesn’t not know “J” of java .
Request to hiring managers/ leads please assign some skilled person for taking interview else It will be wastage of time for everyone and please review your employees quality also .

I applied online. I interviewed at Sophos (Abingdon, England) in Nov 2021
Interview
The interview process was good. I have been told that I would be invited to the next stage of the interview process and that I definitely got feedback from them. But didn't hear back from the company.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sophos (Abingdon, England) in Jan 2016
Interview
Applied at a university fair where Sophos had a stand. Next step was a telephone interview with a manager and an engineer where I was asked typical behavioural questions and then they tested my knowledge in programming with questions about C++, PC architecture and some bit operations. Finally I was invited to their office where I visited the place ad had an interview with two engineers. This time the focus was a lot more on Malware, the types of it, challenges when detecting malware etc. Overall it was a pleasing experience.
