Interview
Several months after applying online, I receive an e-mail from a Sophos recruiter based in Boston over the weekend with a writing test and a set time to speak to them.
Other companies i) let the candidate choose a time, ii) carry out an initial phone screen and iii) include a test as part of a technical interview.
Sophos continues to have job openings in Canada and after my initial experience with a low-level recruiter, I'm not surprised why.
