I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sotheby's (New York, NY) in May 2018
Interview
Applied online, had an introductory meeting and then an interview and a writing test. The first interview was with an HR person, she later set up an interview for one of the jobs she said were 'perfect' for me. After my interview, which was extremely short, I did a writing test and later on had salary discussions. The range I was told by the HR person was extremely low for what they were offering but still I wanted to get the offer. It was at least two months of 'radio silence' until I heard back negatively. On the phone call informing me of their decision they blamed it on my writing test, stating it wasn't up to the standard (???). The HR person insisted she wanted to find me a position in the company and suggested other jobs to apply to. I NEVER EVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN.

Interviewer was very responsive and accommodating to schedule a time. Kind and asked typical entry level questions for the field. They kept the interview upbeat and asked about career outlook throughout their organization.

Question 1
Have you worked in an executive assistant role previously?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sotheby's (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
Comprehensive but went at a quick pace, received next day feedback/scheduling of second round. Standard questions: strengths/weaknesses, why do you want to work here etc. Kind recruiters and receptionists, overall feel of the space was positive, inquisitive, and encouraging vs the aloof/intimidating reputation large art houses can have.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sotheby's (New York, NY)
Interview
Submitted online application and received a call from the HR, had a pleasant phone interview and then scheduled to meet the 2 executives the role would be assisting. Met only with one of the executives who was a very pleasant person. It was a very human approach and personable interview. Nothing like some of those interviews asking if i wanted to fight a duck or a horse.
