Interview
I applied online and was contacted by HR about a month later. The interview, in Sotheby's offices, was with both the HR recruiter and the would-be manager. I was given a run-down of the job (about three months of past sales research, data entry, and database cleanup); it seemed fairly straightforward, though the recruiter mentioned they'd been looking for someone for a long time, which seemed strange. I was asked to give a walkthrough of my recent experience and what I was looking for, as well as several generic interview questions. The start date they told me they were aiming for was about two weeks away, and I was told I'd hear back in a week. I felt like it went pretty well, but they ghosted me.
