Interview
I applied online for the London Graduate Training Programme. Two months later I was contacted by phone and invited to interview at the London office. I met with a single interviewer and the interview itself was fairly relaxed and not intimidating. I was later offered feedback by my interviewer. In general my impression of the company was that although it can be difficult to find a way in, it is a reasonably friendly place and is not altogether unhelpful to graduates looking to begin a career in the art industry.

Question 1
About your strengths and weaknesses and a group assessment day
Very straightforward interview with HR. Asked mostly about job/work experience rather than art historical knowledge/research interests. Seemed more business focused than art focused, on the balance of art/business intersection represented by auction houses like Sotheby’s.
