Interview
The interview process took about three weeks. One round with HR and another with department specialists. They talked to me about the Floater program very generally at first and only later specified department placement.
Totally easy process. very disorganized once part of the program. Only 2 rounds of interviews all softball questions. also interviews were very short, all about just like how you work and what you want to do at Sotheby's nothing difficult or technical
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sotheby's (New York, NY) in Mar 2019
Interview
I interviewed with Sotheby's for a Floater position in NYC over a year ago. Scheduling the first interview was prompt after initial call. Interview was supposed to be two-part, however, due to a last-minute scheduling conflict, I only met with two people for approx 30 mins. Standard questions were asked and as this was an entry-level position, they asked more questions regarding my interests, knowledge and expectations.
