While I liked the recruiter I had, I found the process at SVP rather frustrating. As another commenter pointed out, SVP requires you to submit 5 references, 2 of which must be managers, who all must fill out a survey about you, *before* you’ve even had a full interview. You have to reach out to 5 people and ask them to very generously take time out of their day to take a survey about you. So I did all of this….only to never hear from SVP again. Now I am left feeling bad and guilty that I bothered my references in the first place. Please consider, if you’re going to ghost people who follow your rules, at the very least do the survey after the interview.
