I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SpaceX in Jun 2025
Interview
Like most interview processes for a software engineer position, the process was long. I first had an interview with a recruiter where she asked me basic coding questions and more about my background. I then had a take home coding assessment, followed by a phone call with a senior engineer who I didn't think was going to show up initially because was over 10 minutes late.
Recruiter screens usually hit: time/space complexity of common operations, why O(log n) beats O(n), array vs hash map vs linked list tradeoffs, and Big-O of sorting. Want me to drill you on these?
