Interview
Scheduled a call with one of the recruiters. Call was typical: asked why SpaceX, if I have ever used hand tools (e.g. torque wrenches, DMM, calipers, micrometers), and a bit about my resume.
Got invited to onsite interview where I toured and saw where I will be stationed and learned about the in house facilities and different sections.
last 30 minutes I went into a room with a panel of other technicians and supervisors where they had me use a couple tools and asked me some technical questions and "get to know you" questions.
If you are someone that is fine with a 70/30 work/life balance then this should be a good job for you.
