I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at SpaceX (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview

The thing I liked most about my SpaceX interview process was how quickly they moved - I was contacted on Monday and had an offer 30 minutes after my third and final interview on Friday.
