I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SpaceX in Aug 2025
Interview
Applied online, received HR response email to schedule phone screening next day. After 20 min phone screening about the background, scheduled a 45-min phone technical interview two days later. The interview consists of two parts. One part were some fairly easy questions about C++, and data structure regarding optimization. The other part was related to my past experience, and combined with some hypothesized working scenarios at SpaceX. Questions were about how I would approach to resolve them. Got response two days later, didn't make it to the next round.

Question 1
Do you know a hash table, and how to deal with collision?
Recruiter screens usually hit: time/space complexity of common operations, why O(log n) beats O(n), array vs hash map vs linked list tradeoffs, and Big-O of sorting. Want me to drill you on these?
