      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at SparkPost (London, England) in Apr 2018

      Interview

My complaint in full, which will be sent to your CEO, Linkedin Forum and Glassdoor Reviews: On the 2nd April, I was contacted by Spark post in regards to my application for a Deliverability Analyst Day 1 - Recruiter did not call me on the scheduled date. Day 2- Recruiter did not call because he had an issue with his phone. Day 3 - Recruiter called for the initial telephone interview. Day 4 - Recruiter sets up a call interview with 5 delivery team members on 5 different days throughout the week. Day 10 - I had a call with the Vice President of Deliverability. Vice President stated as longs as all checks are complete with HR, that she would be happy to go forward. Day 12- Recruiter requested 3 references from me. Recruiter contacted all my references. Day 17 - Vice President of Deliverability had called me to ask why I had so many work contract positions. I advised her that I own a business through a limited company and consulted as a deliverability consultant through this. Vice president of delivery states that 'ah that makes sense'. Day 20 - Recruiter states that the Vice President of Delivery would like me to fly to meet her in London and meet with the Sales team. Day 26 - I paid for a flight and met with the Sales team, on this day the Vice-president stated that all was positive in regards to the meetings with her team. Day 38- Recruiter sends me the following email: I want to thank you for the communication and effort over the last however many weeks it has been. Unfortunately, we have decided to move forward with another candidate at this time. Again, The Vice president of delivery, myself and the rest of the team really appreciate your time and interest in SparkPost. Thank you again and good luck in your search! Sparkpost has wasted my time, by stating that they were interested in hiring me in the last stages, contacting my references and flying me to London. Please be aware of this company.
