I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Speechify
Interview
Long but good process.
- In first interview, I had to develop features with the AI Assisted tools.
- Another interview was coding in vanilla JS.
- Last Tech interview was regarding rearchitecting an already existing React Component

Question 1
In React Interview, find the problems in current components and how would you improve it to make production ready
I applied online. I interviewed at Speechify in Jan 2026
Interview
There was an automated assessment sent out right after I submitted the application form. The assessment is recorded on camera, screen share required, 90 minutes timed. I consider this to be a red flag as I want to speak to a person before committing my own time to an assessment. I did try out the assessment but I did not complete it.
The other red flag is that this one position was posted hundreds of times (possibly over 1000) on LinkedIn, each under a different city. I'm sure the poster is aware that LinkedIn can post remote positions, as they probably used a script to make that many listings. I don't know if this was done to mess with LinkedIn's metrics or to harvest more candidates, but either way it's a very suspicious behavior that appears deceptive.
