Interview
I have interviewed at several places recently, but this experience was different. Every person I talked to had such high energy and you could tell they really loved the company.

Question 1
Most of the time was spent going through my past work history and giving examples of working through complex sales. We also worked through a 30/60/90 day plan and what strategies could be used to drive revenue.
Overall process was an enjoyable experience. First call was an interview with the direct manager and the second call was a screen with a peer. Discussion was largely around my current experience and what value I could bring.

Tell me about your current experience, what is your average deal size?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Spiff in Feb 2022
Interview
Honestly feel like I dodged a huge bullet here given the recent reviews from AEs. I applied, got a quickly scheduled recruiter screen. From there...it started to get really odd.
Before hopping on the meeting (done through GoogleMeet (weird in itself but oh well)), I saw that dept head and the recruiter was on the attendee list. Go into the meeting and it is just a 1on1 with the dept head. She was great and the conversation seemed to be positive.
Aggressively growing team. Leads are coming out their ears. Team to multiply by 3 by end of year (which can be good or bad depending). Anyway, I have been hyper selective on companies to apply to and I was excited. head mentioned that next steps would happen very quickly within the next few days and to expect something from the recruiter.
A week and a half passes, nothing. I reach out with both of them on the thread asking about next steps. Recruiter gets back to me two days later saying he will check with hiring manager and get back to me ASAP. And that is where this story ends. I ended up following up again (I think twice), because the product looks great and the use case seems like a home run. However I never heard back and didn't get even a "regret to inform" type email.
Clearly this company isn't geared to 3x their sales team if I am having to jump through hoops to set the next promised step. Got an offer elsewhere today which was great. Glad I got this experience instead of thinking this was such a legit company, with a perfect GD rating (at the time), and jumping in having high hopes. Yikes Spiff....
