I began interviewing with Spinutech in August of 2021, and after FIVE interviews over the last three months, I finally received an answer in November. After the first initial phone screen, they wanted to schedule a second interview. Despite following up via phone and email, I did not hear back from their hiring department for more than a month. They claimed they "lost my email." Once I finally had a second interview with a very scattered member of their content department, I waited another two weeks for an additional interview.
After the third interview, a department lead wanted to speak with me again (a fourth interview!) about a more senior role that would be more in line with my compensation requirements. She believed I would be a good fit given my qualifications and experience. At this point, I told the department lead and my point of contact within the hiring department that I already had multiple job offers, but I was still interested in their role. This did not give them any sense of urgency.
During my final fifth interview, I spoke with the CEO of the company (who was very kind) and another department lead. I brought up their lack of communication and received an apology. Upon asking about the more senior position, I was told I did not have enough experience...despite what the other department lead had told me.
I can't say I'm disappointed about not getting this job, because I feel like I dodged a bullet. If you like being ignored throughout a long, drawn-out hiring process, Spinutech could be the right company for you!
