Rejection A rather lengthy process compared to other prospective employers. The technical assessment wasn't particularly difficult and my interactions with the Data Engineering team I thought were great as they were very friendly and laid-back. I assume I lost out in the calls with the cross-functional teams where a lot of emphasis is placed on soft-skill questions; the Data Science team in particular seemed interested only in whether I had experience with processing A/B testing data (I think this also came up in the call with the Frontend team as well) and whether I could quickly answer their soft-skill questions to their liking. The recruiter was very communicative throughout until the period following my last interview, after which I reached out a couple times over a 2-3 week period to be told I was still under consideration but that they were still wrapping up with other candidates, which I took to mean I'd eventually receive a rejection and I did.
