This was THE WORST interview process I could ever have imagined. They are insanely inept at everything they do. Having dealt with 5 of their Talent Acquisition employees, not one of them had any idea that I had interviewed with 3 other people already. It was bizarre how little they knew! So having done one round of interviews with people in Europe and NY, going through all the motions, dealing with them not scheduling the interviewees (despite them being CC'd on the google Hangout), I've wasted upwards of 10 weeks dealing with them.
The offer they eventually proposed to me was laughable. As in, one person said the range was between (as an example) 60-80k. HOWEVER, the offer that came back was 10k below that at 50k. Which had me scratching my head, and when I brought this up - it was met with a 'umm....that sounds about right'. My advice to anyone even thinking about working here is...DON'T. The interview process alone should be enough to make any walk the hell away.
They have no idea what they are doing, the people who discuss the product are oblivious to their reducing market share, they have very little forward thinking about how to maintain (not even grow) their market share. They keep pumping money into 'social activities' and hope that it pays off. Oh and not to forget the best part.
At about week 8 - I was asked to submit some presentations I have done before, so they can get an idea of what it is I do! Yeah, that's a first! Who has ever had to do this? They weren't even bothered to ask me to do it on a particular problem/industry/product - just, send over something you've already done. I declined the offer and am now getting bombarded with 'please fill in this survey on how our recruiting team did'. Best part about this email, the 'click here' link is dead - so you can't even fill it in. That was the perfect final nail in this redundant coffin!
