Video interview, 1st stage. 2nd stage was to be a face to face, either in London, Stockholm or New York. I was really looking forward to this process with such a well regarded business as Spotify. Sadly, if this is how the interview process works for very senior hires, I dread to think of what the process is like for other roles. Originally I thought my experience must have been the recruiter having a bad day. Then when I waited for feedback and next steps... silence. I chased, no reply. Called, no answer. Emailed, no response. Clearly I wasn't successful, that much became obvious, but the treatment was really disappointing. It wasn't until I checked out Spotify here on Glassdoor, that I realised that my experience was not isolated. Even more disappointing. I really hope they sort this recruitment issue out. Such a shame for a business with such potential.
