I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Spotify (Cambridge, England) in Nov 2019
Interview
I was given an interview with the "talent acquisition" team after taking an aptitude test they sent me. The interview with talent acquisition is the worst interview I've had. They sent me a calendar invite with two options, a Hangouts call and a phone call. I joined the hangouts 5 minutes early and no one showed up 5 minutes after the scheduled time. I then received an email from the talent acquisition agent saying that he tried to call me but he couldn't reach me. I had my phone right next to me and never got a call, I replied to his email saying I was in the hangouts call waiting for him. He promptly replied saying that they only do the interviews through the phone. Why do they have the hangouts call as an option? He asked me if we could reschedule for an hour later and have the interview through Hangouts. The call lasted 6 minutes and it really didn't seem like he wanted to be there.
